Eat Lunch, Talk Content

September 10, 2010 | by Carrie Hane Dennison | Posted in Events, Web Content

Sometimes someone has a great idea and can make something of it. But more often than not, great things come from several people putting their minds together and helping each other.

That is the idea behind Balance Interactive’s new brown-bag lunch series focused on web content. We know there are a lot of people out there who may not have others to bounce ideas of off, or mentors to learn from. So we thought we’d bring individuals together to form a group that can help each other learn, grown, and educate. Besides, who doesn’t need to eat lunch? Might as well make it productive!

Each monthly discussion will focus on a specific area of web content. While there will be a moderator, the idea is for everyone who attends to participate. Whether maintaining your company’s website is just one of your many duties or you’ve been a web writer for years, we think you’ll get something out of these discussions. Get ideas from others, get input from others about your website, or discuss your frustrations or successes. We’re not sure which direction each session will go, but we think it will be positive.

The series kicks off on September 22 with “Writing for the Web.” Please RSVP to info@balanceinteractive.com so we know who is coming. To keep the small group atmosphere, attendance is limited to 12 participants. Bring your questions, ideas, an open mind, and some lunch. We think you’ll be glad you did!
