



Helios HR needed a redesign that would update the company website to reflect its cutting-edge leadership in helping organizations optimize employee retention and performance. Balance Interactive partnered with Hinge to create a site that effectively communicates the Helios HR brand.
Balance Interactive was tasked with coding the site in HTML/CSS using current best practices. The companies branding elements – look and feel and key messages – were integrated into the site. Offline efforts are not compatible with the online presence. And the website is an effective stand-alone service that helps market Helios to an online audience.
During the process, search engine optimization strategies were used to ensure optimal rankings. Within a week of the launch of the new site, Helios HR saw improvement in its rankings on major search engines.
Balance Interactive completed a four-phase organic search engine optimization process that saw immediate results.
In the first phase, Balance Interactive researched the keywords that were most used to search for the products and services related to Helios HR. A report was generated that provided an analysis of the most valuable keywords and recommendations for how to effectively capitalize on those keywords.
Next, Balance Interactive looked at competitor websites and analyzed any SEO strategies in place. The researched showed how Helios HR could best leverage its website.
The next step was to update targeted pages to maximize the use of appropriate keywords. This included updates to the page content as well as the behind-the-scenes coding. The pages were optimized for the DC Metro area customer base, to obtain more targeted traffic.
Finally, Balance Interactive identified key directories and other websites that related to Helios’s business. Link requests were made to each site, increasing the number of valuable inbound links to www.helioshr.com.
