



NXTcomm presents the national trade show for the network-enabled voice, video and data industries. The naming and branding of the show has been through many transitions during the past 10 years as partners merged and separated and the nature of the industries evolved.
NXTcomm needed a web strategy that would solidify the show name and branding and create a buzz and excitement that would attract attendees. In a competitive marketplace, NXTcomm needed to convince their key audiences that the NXTcomm show presents the best business value.
Balance Interactive worked with NXTcomm to develop and execute a web site strategy. Balance Interactive work included defining site goals and tactics to meet them, selecting and setting up a solid hosting environment, creating a design that targeted attendees, developing and launching the NXTcomm08 website using the Joomla content management system, integrating content from partners and vendors to create a seemless web experience for users, developing a social media plan, and providing ongoing consultation on effective web and social media strategies.
Balance Interactive created a design for the show site that translated the key messages of the show. It reflected the technologies that would be the focus of the show. It appealed to the targeted attendee base. A flash element added to the excitement and reinforced the reasons why this was THE event for professionals to attend.
