About the Project

RKG Associates, Inc. provides private, public and institutional clients, nationwide, a comprehensive range of advisory, planning, and strategic consulting services related to real estate, land use and economic development. When the company needed a website to better reflect its business and its success it came to Balance Interactive.

Balance Interactive provided a website strategy and redesign for the the RKG website to coordinate with printed materials and promote the company’s personality and philosophy. Balance Interactive provided a structure for engaging copy and design to establish a relationship with the audience.

Focus on Navigation

The project included a focus on the navigation to ensure that it is consistent and intuitive. The site architecture defined a main navigation bar with secondary items in a drop-down menu. Interior pages feature section name and secondary navigation items. Breadcrumb navigation tracks the users trail from the home page to the current page.

Dynamic Design and Content

Visual appeal was created with ample use of images and Flash. In addition, featured news/projects area was incorporated to communicate new developments and projects.

The site was developed so that the client can maintain it using Dreamweaver.
