Balance Develops SUPERCOMM 2009 Website

December 5, 2008

Balance Interactive has teamed with SUPERCOMM to launch an innovative, user-friendly website. The content-rich site reflects ever-changing broadband industry and the excitement surrounding SUPERCOMM 2009.

Balance Interactive created the NXTcomm show site in 2008. In 2009, the show reverted to its former name, SUPERCOMM, and Balance Interactive was once again tapped to create a successful show website.

The SUPERCOMM 2009 web strategy needed to capture the excitement of past shows and demonstrate that this is a new show with new features, covering the latest technologies and industry developments. The primary goal was to attract attendees, demonstrating the business value even in tough economic times.

Balance Interactive developed and executed a web site strategy, information architecture and design. Balance Interactive also developed a social media strategy to build on efforts started in 2008. The website is maintained using the Joomla content management system, integrating content from partners and vendors to create a seamless web experience for users.

“SUPERCOMM is a reflection of how broadband changes lives and we have developed a comprehensive tool to showcase just that,” said Jim Forlenza, executive director of SUPERCOMM. “Centered around healthcare, education, environment and digital home, the new Web site is a one stop source for SUPERCOMM information, providing users with easy navigation, compelling content and overall visual appeal.”
