Carrie Hane Dennison to Speak at DrupalCamp Maryland

Balance Interactive Content & Usability Director Carrie Hane Dennison will present at DrupalCamp Maryland on February 10. The event will take place at the University of Baltimore’s William H. Thumel Sr. Business Center.

Dennison’s presentation, “Putting Content First - Planning Content Types,” will emphasize the importance of carefully considering what content types are needed for a given Drupal website. She will explain how planning content types first can dictate the development of a project.

As Content & Usability Director at Balance, Dennison plans holistic content strategies for clients of all types. With 15 years of experience in international communications and web and content strategy, she brings an array of professional experience to her work. Her expertise includes site architecture, usability, and content strategy. She has extensive experience with writing and editing for both print and web, communications development and planning, and has worked in large and small associations, as well as the federal government. Dennison holds a BA in Political Science from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan, and an MA in International Affairs from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
