Courtney Houghton Joins Balance Technology Group as Project Manager

Courtney Houghton has joined Balance Technology Group of Springfield, Virginia, as a project manager.

Houghton brings to the Balance team experience managing projects that focus on web and technology application development and deployment. Her 13 years of experience includes work with corporate, non-profit, government and small business clients. She has managed projects both as an internal company resource as well as an external consultant, giving her the ability to view each client interaction from a specific and unique perspective.   

She has previously worked at Everest Software, Inc., VMD Systems Integrators, Deltek Systems, IDEV and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

“Courtney brings to our team an exceptional customer service orientation and solid project management skills,” said Tracy Betts, owner of Balance Technology Group. “She is a terrific addition to the team.”

Houghton holds a Master of Library Sciences from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and a BS in History from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.  She serves in a volunteer position as a regional officer in an international 501c3 organization. She resides in Reston, Virginia.
