Beth Bacon

Content Strategist

Beth Bacon is a user advocate and considers content a key factor in the usability of a website. In both information architecture and content strategy roles, she creates structures for websites so users can find the information they are looking for, and plans and writes content that users can understand and act on. Beth also has an interest in training; she sees the value in helping others to write clearly and use technology with ease.

With more than a decade of experience, Beth has created content and strategy for a variety of audiences and in a variety of contexts: nonprofit organizations, K-12 education issues, state policy issues, union communications, marketing communications, and grant proposals. All these experiences strengthen her abilities as a user advocate.

Beth received her BA in Philosophy at Colorado College and MA in Professional Writing at Carnegie Mellon University.

When she’s not thinking about web users and content, Beth enjoys her children’s curiosity about the world, hiking, camping, travel, swimming, and throwing pots on the wheel.
