Carrie Hane Dennison

Content & Usability Director

Carrie plans holistic content strategies for clients of all types. There isn’t an experience she has that doesn’t contribute to the next one. With over 15 years of experience in international communications and web and content strategy, she brings an array of professional experience to her work with all types of organizations. She has extensive experience with writing and editing for both print and web, communications development and planning, and has worked in large and small associations, as well as the federal government. Her pursuit of an international affairs degree and career goal of working in foreign policy brought her to Washington, DC, but the dawn of the World Wide Web created a new environment for her to put her analytical and strategic thinking skills to use. Now she draws on all her experiences to better understand what people want from websites and plan the content accordingly.

Before starting her professional life, Carrie received her BA in Political Science from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan, and MA in International Affairs from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She is an active member of DC Web Women and serves as volunteer webmaster for her sons' school PTA.
