Rich Wolford

Rich Wolford is responsible for developing new client opportunities at Balance Interactive. Rich is a marketing and business development professional with over 20 years experience and an entrepreneurial background. 

Rich has founded several web-based businesses which have provided him with a real world learning curve on the value of a strong web technology solution. He was co-founder and COO of Skyjet.com, where he built the first nationwide, real-time, online reservation service for private business jets.  Skyjet was sold to Bombardier Aerospace where it thrives today as an important element in their mix of aviation products. 

Rich gained significant sales and marketing experience as Managing Director of BrandSync, a branding and advertising agency in Richmond, VA. While at BrandSync he led dozens of branding projects for Fortune 1000 companies, middle market firms, not for profits and associations. Rich started his career in banking which culminated in his job as Chief Marketing Officer at Riggs Bank.

Rich earned a BA in economics from Fordham University and an MBA from George Washington University. He has been an active supporter of entrepreneurship for technology based businesses in the D.C. region.
