Rosemary Sallee

Senior Project Manager

Rosemary Sallee has over 10 years’ project management experience spanning the technology, museum and not for profit industries. She has seen the web industry grow and develop while developing digital greetings for a San Francisco dotcom in the 1990s, managing high-end design projects for a Santa Fe web design firm in the 2000s, and planning museum exhibits and collections projects in recent years.

Rosemary enjoys looking at “the big picture” when it comes to technology. She has managed projects with high-profile design requirements for museum, opera and other arts institutions, researched and implemented digital imaging and other technical processes for artifact collections projects, and has researched and presented academic studies on gender and technology, social media and blogging. A Teach for America alumna, she has also taught as an adjunct faculty member in Communications & Humanities in the Northern Virginia Community College system.

Rosemary holds a BA in American Culture from Vassar College, and an MA in American Studies from the University of New Mexico. She is on the board of the Upper Pohick Community League, which cares for the Historic Sydenstricker Schoolhouse, the last one-room schoolhouse in Fairfax County. When not working, teaching or studying, she enjoys women’s history, crafting, and cooking, especially anything involving chocolate or green chile.
